The monthly and the emergency contraceptive pill are both hormonal pills taken to help prevent unplanned pregnancies.

1 pill at the same time daily for reliable and effective birth control When To Use Within 3 to 5 days after unprotected sex
Effectiveness

*if taken within 3 days after unprotected sex

Nausea, breast tenderness and headaches. Usually, side effects are mild and resolve within a few months. Side Effects? May experience nausea, fatigue, abdominal pain, breast tenderness, dizziness, headaches.
Frequent use may cause periods to become irregular and unpredictable.
