What’s Required for MDWs in Singapore
As part of ongoing work permit conditions, employers must ensure their domestic helper undergoes regular medical checks and meets updated health requirements:

Who it is for:
Migrant domestic workers (MDWs) living in households with children under 7 years old, as required by MOM from 1 September 2025. Adults who have not received complete vaccination during childhood; school teachers, healthcare workers, unvaccinated women planning to become pregnant.
What it includes:
A two-dose vaccine administered 28 days apart
MMR (2 Doses) + Influenza (1 Dose) Bundle
Who it is for:
Migrant domestic workers (MDWs) living in households with children under 7 years old (MMR required by MOM from 1 Sep 2025)
Individuals looking to stay updated with annual flu protection
Adults with no documented MMR vaccination or immunity
What it involves:
MMR Vaccine: 2 doses, given 28 days apart
Influenza Vaccine: 1 dose (recommended annually)
MMR (2 Doses) + Tdap (1 Dose) + Influenza (1 Dose) Bundle
Who it is for:
Migrant domestic workers (MDWs) living with children under 7 years old (MMR requirement from 1 Sep 2025, as per MOM)
MDWs working with infants, young children, or elderly persons
Adults who have not received updated Tdap or annual influenza vaccinations
Employers who wish to ensure their helper is up to date with routine adult immunisations
What it includes:
MMR Vaccine: 2 doses, 28 days apart (for measles immunity)
Tdap Vaccine: 1 dose (protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis/whooping cough)
Influenza Vaccine: 1 dose (annual vaccination recommended)

Is there a home-based 6ME screening option / Can my maid do the 6ME medical checkup at home?
Doctor Anywhere’s home-based six month medical exam (6ME) service ceased in August 2021. Please refer to the update by Ministry of Manpower for details.
What documents do I need to prepare for the 6ME screening?
For the Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) 6-Month Examination, the documents required are:
- MOM Medical Form (hardcopy)
- Work Permit Card (physical card)
What if my Helper requires a Chest X-Ray to be performed?
If the MOM’s medical screening form states that a Chest X-Ray is required, your helper will be required to attend the nearest partnering Imaging Center to perform the X-Ray.
Our clinic staff will assist with booking the appointment during the screening visit.
Do note that transportation costs to the partnering centres are not included in the screening package.
Who will submit the completed medical form to MOM?
Our clinic staff will submit the 6ME medical form and the laboratory results to MOM on your behalf.
You will receive an SMS with the submission reference number. If you would like to retain the physical copy of the medical form you can collect it from the clinic. If not collected, forms will be discarded after 2 weeks.
Can I change the date of the appointment?
You can change the date and time of the appointment depending on the availability of the slots. Please ensure that screening is done at least 2 weeks prior to the due date on 6ME form.
This is to allow a safe timeframe for a repeat blood test or chest x-ray for any abnormal test results if required.
