A flu vaccination is recommended to maintain our immunity against new strains of the influenza virus. Frequency: Flu season in Singapore is from November to February (Northern Hemisphere), and May to July (Southern Hemisphere). The flu shot takes around 2 weeks to be effective, hence it’s recommended to get vaccinated early.
For adults (18-64 y.o.)
All adults are recommended to take a flu vaccination yearly, especially at-risk individuals with weaker immune systems
For seniors (65+ y.o.)
Elderly aged 65 years and older are recommended to receive flu vaccine on annual basis. *Fully subsidised for Singaporean seniors above 65yo (CHAS eligibility applies).
For children (6m-17 y.o)
NCIS recommends influenza vaccinations to all healthy children who are aged 6 – 59 months, and any child aged 6 – 17 years old with medical conditions or indications. Fully subsidised for Singaporean children under 5 (CHAS eligibility applies).
Family Flu Vaccination
Available as a home-based service, get vaccinated conveniently as an entire family or a group at a single location.
Fully subsidised for Singaporean children under 5 and seniors over 65 (CHAS eligiblity applies), and add family members for $32.70 each
Important: To receive CHAS subsidies, Singapore citizens must fulfil the eligibility criteria and/or have specific medical conditions/indications. CHAS subsidies are applicable for both in-clinic and home-based influenza vaccinations.
Subsidised Flu Vaccination
CHAS subsidies are available for vaccinations recommended under Ministry of Health’s NCIS or NAIS at our DA Clinics, or via our home-based vaccination service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my CHAS card for nationally-recommended vaccinations at the DA Clinic?
Yes, all DA Clinics are CHAS participating clinics. Please present your CHAS card at the time of appointment. You can find the full list of CHAS subsidised vaccinations here.
Who is eligible to receive CHAS subsidies for flu vaccinations?
Under National Adult Immunisation Schedule, eligible Singapore citizens aged 65 years and above are entitled to receive subsidised flu vaccinations at CHAS GP clinics.
Singapore citizens aged 18 to 64 years with certain medical conditions are also eligible for CHAS subsidies. You can learn more about these conditions and available subsidies here.
Under National Childhood Immunisation Programme, the vaccine is free for eligible children in the recommended age group (6 – 59 months) and high-risk groups. Do refer to the MOH webpage to find out more about who is eligible for these subsidies.
Can I choose my preferred appointment time?
Yes, you may select your preferred slot time from the appointment timings available when you book online.
How do I make a payment?
Payment is made online when you purchase your vaccination on the DA Marketplace.
Can I do a vaccination after recovering from Covid-19?
Yes, however we recommend that you speak with a doctor to make sure that you are ready to do a vaccination after recovering from Covid-19.
Can I change my appointment date after making a booking?
You can change the date and time of your vaccination up to 5 days before your appointment.
