The collaboration enables easy, convenient access to a broad range of healthcare services including home-based health screenings and vaccinations
Singapore – 10 November 2023 – As Singapore’s population ages, preventive health is vital for long-term health. However, many Singaporeans encounter obstacles to managing their health, with 60%1 surveyed forgoing health screenings due to busy schedules, rising healthcare costs, and the fear of finding out they have an illness.
To bridge this gap, Doctor Anywhere (“DA”) and Prudential Singapore (“Prudential”) today announced a partnership to drive greater convenience and uptake of preventive healthcare services. Through the collaboration, DA will provide affordable and convenient home-based healthcare services to customers of Prudential’s Integrated Shield Plan, PRUShield, that offers comprehensive medical coverage (for more details, please refer to note on pg 2).
These include nationally recommended vaccinations for children and seniors that are fully subsidised under the National Immunisation Schedule (NCIS, NAIS) such as Flu and Pneumococcal vaccinations, Health Screenings starting from $68, and Flu and Travel Vaccinations from $30, administered by DA’s mobile medical team in the privacy and comfort of one’s home2 (for more details, please visit Prudential’s website).
The new home-based services offer time-savings and convenience for busy individuals, giving them peace of mind that they and their dependents are well-protected against illnesses. Early detection and intervention can help reduce the risk of serious health complications for most of these illnesses.
