Today, we are pleased to welcome Doctor Raksa to the Doctor Anywhere (DA) family. Doctor Raksa is a well-established telehealth brand in Thailand, with more than 1 million users and thousands of doctors across diversified specialisations. The acquisition will deepen DA’s presence in Thailand, and lead us to be the largest telehealth platform in Thailand.
Since the launch of DA in 2017, it has been our mission to deliver seamless and quality healthcare through technology and innovation. This acquisition will unlock synergies between the 2 platforms, widen our network of medical professionals, and consolidate our resources to provide more options and better services to our providers and patients within the ecosystem. Our combined expertise will strengthen our infrastructure and tech capabilities to pave the way forward for a new future of telehealth in Thailand.
What does this mean for our partners and providers:
There will not be any major changes to the branding and services provided on both platforms. However, you can expect significant benefits in the following areas moving forward:
- Increased resources and expertise – better and improved user experience
- Wider network of healthcare providers – access to new services and medical specialties
- Access to a larger pool of users across Thailand
By the end of Q1 2022, the group will also expand our medication delivery services to 38 provinces in the country.
Moving forward, our vision remains unchanged – to be the largest tech-enabled omnichannel healthcare service provider in Asia – and we believe that this is an important milestone in bringing us closer to achieving our goals of enabling borderless healthcare across the region.
