Positive Parenting Workshop
Positive Parenting is a powerful approach that focuses on promoting your child’s emotional and behavioural development through reinforcement, empathy, and effective communication. Designed for expecting parents and those with children below 7 years old, the workshop will cover:
- Key principles of positive parenting, the brain science behind tantrums and how to effectively manage them
- Empower parents with practical and actionable strategies that can help them co-regulate with their children during challenging moments
Plus gain invaluable insights and learn effective strategies to nurture your child’s development from esteemed health professionals in a panel discussion, featuring Jacinth Liew, Parent Coach of Our Little Play Nest, Dr Katrina Heng, Paediatric Doctor at Doctor Anywhere, and Yvon Bock, Founder and CEO of Hegen Pte Ltd.
Our Speakers
Jacinth Liew
Parent Coach, Our Little Play Nest
Jacinth is a parenting coach, educator and a mom to two kids (9yo and 7yo). She is also the founder of Our Little Play Nest.
Marrying her decade-long teaching knowledge and parenting experiences, Jacinth empowers parents to communicate and connect meaningfully with their children through research-backed, positive parenting strategies.
She has been featured in Straits Times Singapore, Lianhe Zaobao and Singapore Tatler.
Dr Katrina Heng
Paediatric Doctor, Doctor Anywhere
Dr Heng has been practicing in Singapore for 10 years in the field of Paediatrics. She returned to Singapore after her overseas training and was accepted into the SingHealth Paediatrics Residency Programme.
She started with Paediatrics and has since rotated in its various sub-specialities before settling in children’s emergency and developmental-behavioural paediatrics.
She holds certificates in Paediatrics Acute Life Support, and developmental assessment tools for childhood development.
Yvon Bock
