- The supervised ART test service only includes the video consultation. You will need to provide your own ART kits (must be Singapore HSA-approved).
Tips for Making Your Supervised ART Test Appointment
- Each person will need to use their own DA account to book their supervised ART test appointment. Please do not book appointments for multiple people on the same account.
- For travellers doing their pre-departure test, please have your passport and travel itinerary ready at the start of the call.
- If you’re doing the test to get your recovery memo, please show our swab supervisor a screenshot of your Covid-19 positive result on HealthHub, so that they can verify when you had been unwell.

What is the Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service?
The Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service allows you to carry out your supervised ART test by a trained swab supervisor over video consultation, instead of having to do one physically at a Quick Test Centre or in a clinic.
Who can use the Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service?
The Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service can be utilised for individuals who require ART test results for pre-event or pre-departure testing requirements*. If you are feeling unwell, please see a doctor for a referral first on our app to get a referral, before booking your ART appointment.
(*Do note that it is your responsibility to ensure that your destination country accepts ART tests as part of their entry requirements.)
The tele-ART service is not suitable for individuals who require testing on the Rostered Routine Testing scheme.
How long does each consultation last?
Each supervised ART consultation will last 30 minutes. This includes the 15 minutes required for the ART test kit to produce a valid result.
During this 15-minute waiting period, you are allowed to leave the view of the camera. However, your ART test kit must remain in view the entire time, until your results are verified by the swab supervisor.
Which ART kits can I use for my online Supervised ART (Tele-ART)?

I typed my ART LOT number wrongly/chose a wrong ART kit when booking my appointment. What should I do?
There’s no need to worry, you can proceed with the test. Your swab supervisor will verify the details of your ART kit at the start of the call, so you can let them know you’d keyed in the wrong details when you registered for your appointment. They will assist you in updating your test details.
My passport details are wrong. How do I change this?
If you’re updating your passport number for an online supervised ART, you can let your swab supervisor know at the start of your appointment. They’ll verify your identification details to ensure the right information is reflected on your test result.
I would like to reschedule my online Supervised ART (Tele-ART) appointment. How should I do it?
To reschedule, you’ll need to make a new appointment on our app and cancel your previous appointment.
Not to worry about your appointment cancellation, you’ll receive a refund within 5-7 days if you had cancelled your initial appointment at least 4 hours before it was scheduled.
Can I cancel my Supervised ART (Tele-ART) appointment?
Yes, you can cancel your appointment by going to the Appointments tab in the bottom bar and select the appointment date that you’ll like to cancel.
If you had cancelled your appointment with your swab supervisor 4 hours before it should take place, you’ll receive a refund automatically. Do wait 5-7 days for the refund.
Can you carry out a Supervised ART (Tele-ART) test for children and infants?
Yes, we are able to carry out the Supervised ART service for children. We may require your assistance to carry out the physical swab for your child during the appointment. Do also create a separate DA account for your child when booking the appointment.
For what countries am I able to use the Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service as a pre-departure test from Singapore?
You can use our online supervised ART service to do your pre-departure test, so long as the country you are travelling to accepts remote supervised ART results for entry. You’ll receive a pre-departure travel memo with Notarised results, along with a EU DCC-compatible QR code.

I feel unwell and I want to consult a GP on DA App. I also want to do a Supervised ART (Tele-ART) to check if I have contracted COVID-19, how should I proceed?
If you’re feeling unwell and would like to do an ART, you would first need to see a doctor for a referral to do an ART. After which, you can book your online supervised ART under ‘Referral from Doctor’. Your results will be updated on HealthHub and TraceTogether within 4 hours.
Why can't I see the Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service on my app screen?
If you’re accessing your DA app in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam or Philippines, you may be seeing our services available in these regions instead.
Not to worry — you can see a swab supervisor on-demand for your Tele-ART test when you return to Singapore, without an appointment, between 8am – 10pm daily.
Can I use the Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service overseas?
Yes, you are able to use our supervised ART services overseas. Do note that as of 26 April, fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to do a pre-departure test to enter Singapore.
How will I receive my ART test results and how fast will I receive them?
Your ART test results will be sent over SMS/email within 2 hours of your consultation. It will be sent by HPB, and will also be updated in your TraceTogether and HealthHub app.
For travellers doing their pre-departure test, you will receive a pre-departure memo with an EU DCC-compatible QR code.
What should I do if my ART result is positive?
If you have tested ART positive, do follow the instructions on this webpage.
Will I receive a recovery memo when I have recovered?
If you would like a recovery memo, you’ll need to make an appointment for our online supervised ART service.
Do upload a screenshot of your Covid-19 positive result (from HealthHub) when making your appointment. Our swab supervisor will also verify that it has been 72 hours since your Covid-19 positive result. After which, you’ll have to do a supervised ART, under the supervision of our swab supervisor. Once they have verified that you have tested negative, you’ll receive your recovery memo in-app within 2 hours.
Do I need a recovery memo?
According to MOH’s guidelines, you should not require a recovery memo to return to your workplace or school. A recovery memo may excuse you from testing requirements for travel, depending on your destination country.
How do I get a recovery memo?
You can get a recovery memo over the DA app through our online supervised ART service. You can book your ART appointment under the reason of ‘Referral from Doctor’ and upload a screenshot of your Covid-19 positive result from HealthHub.
During your appointment, let your swab supervisor know that you’re doing the test to receive a recovery memo. They will first verify that it has been at least 72 hours since your Covid-19 positive result. After which, you’ll have to do a supervised ART, under the supervision of our swab supervisor. Once they have verified that you have tested negative, you’ll receive your recovery memo in-app within 2 hours.
