Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service for?
The Supervised ART (Tele-ART) service can be utilised for individuals who require ART test results for pre-event or pre-departure testing requirements. If you are feeling unwell, please see a doctor for a referral first on our app to get a referral, before booking your ART appointment.
(*Do note that it is your responsibility to ensure that your destination country accepts ART tests as part of their entry requirements.)
How long does the Tele-ART service take?
Each supervised ART consultation can take up to 30 minutes. This includes the 15 minutes required for the ART test kit to produce a valid result.
During this 15-minute waiting period, you are allowed to leave the view of the camera. However, your ART test kit must remain in view the entire time, until your results are verified by the swab supervisor.

I would like to reschedule my online Supervised ART (Tele-ART) appointment. How should I do it?
To reschedule, you’ll need to make a new appointment on our app and cancel your previous appointment.
Not to worry about your appointment cancellation, you’ll receive a refund within 5-7 days if you had cancelled your initial appointment at least 4 hours before it was scheduled.
I typed my ART LOT number wrongly/chose a wrong ART kit when booking my appointment. What should I do?
There’s no need to worry, you can proceed with the test. Your swab supervisor will verify the details of your ART kit at the start of the call, so you can let them know you’d keyed in the wrong details when you registered for your appointment. They will assist you in updating your test details.
I feel unwell and I want to consult a GP on DA App. I also want to do a Supervised ART (Tele-ART) to check if I have contracted COVID-19, how should I proceed?
If you’re feeling unwell and would like to do an ART, you would first need to see a doctor for a referral to do an ART. After which, you can book your online supervised ART under ‘Referral from Doctor’. Your results will be updated on HealthHub and TraceTogether within 4 hours.
How will I receive my ART test results and how fast will I receive them?
Your ART test results will be sent over SMS/email within 2 hours of your consultation. It will be sent by HPB, and will also be updated in your TraceTogether and HealthHub app.
For travellers doing their pre-departure test, you will receive a pre-departure memo with an EU DCC-compatible QR code.
What should I do if my ART result is positive?

Will I receive a recovery memo when I have recovered?
If you would like a recovery memo, you’ll need to make an appointment for our online supervised ART service.
Do upload a screenshot of your Covid-19 positive result (from HealthHub) when making your appointment. Our swab supervisor will also verify that it has been 72 hours since your Covid-19 positive result. After which, you’ll have to do a supervised ART, under the supervision of our swab supervisor. Once they have verified that you have tested negative, you’ll receive your recovery memo in-app within 2 hours.
