How much does it cost to consult a doctor on the DA app?
Video consultations with a licensed GP are:
– Standard Hours (6:00am to 8:59pm): $21.80 nett
– After-Hours (9:00pm to 5:59am): $49.05 nett
Can my child use my DA account to see a doctor?
You’ll need to create a separate DA account for your child for them to use our services. This is each account is tied to an individual’s medical records; as such, we don’t allow the sharing of accounts.
How does tele-consultation work?
Share your child’s symptoms and medical history with the doctor over video. Majority of acute conditions can be diagnosed and treated using telehealth.
What if my child’s condition requires a physical examination?
If your child’s condition requires further investigation, the doctor will advise you to go for a physical consultation instead. Not to worry, you won’t need to pay for the consultation in that case! The doctor will end the consultation and you will not be charged.
Can I get an MC for my child over this app?
Yes, our doctors can issue MCs. Let your doctor know if your child requires one during the consultation.
Can I use telehealth in an emergency?
No, it is not advised. Telehealth is used to address non-serious healthcare issues. In cases of an emergency, such as severe bleeding, fainting or difficulties breathing, please go to the Accident & Emergency department of the nearest hospital or call 995 immediately.
