More than half of the women surveyed shared that side effects were their greatest consideration.
Women who are on birth control shared that their doctors would typically share the possible side effects during their consultations.

The impact of birth control on one’s menstrual health, amongst other side effects, was the top concern for women
When making a decision, women also took into consideration the effectiveness of the birth control method, as well as whether they were hormonal-type of contraceptives.
