and a healthy mind
self with a little help
Be kind to your mind: love yourself, from the inside out
Good mental health is the foundation to achieving our best selves. Loving ourselves can be as simple as some quiet time to wind down at the end of the week or evening walks outside. Amidst our busy work and social schedules, remember to schedule in some ‘Me Time’ for your own self-care.
Sometimes, we may also need a little help to feel better – and there’s nothing wrong with that. Mental health is not one size-fits-all. Reach out to any of our doctors and mental health experts for judgement-free support.
When we’re juggling so many different commitments, it’s natural to feel stressed or frustrated. A therapist can equip us with skills to overcome any mental hurdles we’re facing so that we can thrive in whatever we do!

What to Expect During Therapy
We may shy away from therapy and counselling because we’re not sure what to expect. Seeing a mental health expert isn’t something to be nervous about. Seeking professional health can help us better manage problems relating to self-esteem, low moods, anxiety, disordered eating and other mental health issues before they worsen.
Here are three tips on what you can expect during your first session at therapy.
Get to know each other
A good relationship with your counsellor can improve outcomes tremendously
Decide on an approach
Your counsellor will ask what you’re hoping to achieve through these sessions so that you can work out a plan together
Go at your own pace
Share whatever’s top on your mind, whether it feels big or small!
See a doctor, anytime, wherever you are
